Using Jura means you accept these terms. If anything is unclear, write to support@jura.best and a person will answer.

1. What Jura is

Jura is a matchmaking service built for the Ismaili community — for marriage, lifelong partnership, and sincere companionship. It is a space for honest intentions, and every rule below exists to protect that.

2. Who may use it

You must be 18 years or older. Younger accounts are removed without notice.
One account, your real name, your own photos, your genuine details. Impersonation means immediate removal.
Jura is intended for members of the Ismaili community and those sincerely seeking a partner within it.

3. Your account and honesty

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure.
Face verification compares a live selfie against your own profile photos. Attempting to defeat it — verifying with someone else's face, or holding a photograph to the camera — is a bannable offence.
Deliberate misrepresentation of marital status, age, or identity harms real people making real decisions, and is treated accordingly.

4. Conduct

Treat other members as you would in front of your family. Harassment, hate, threats, sexually explicit content, and solicitation have no place here.
Public Occasions posts reach every member. Post nothing you would not announce at Jamatkhana. Occasions expire after 72 hours by design.
No commercial promotion, spam, or recruiting — Jura is not a marketplace.
Do not screenshot or share other members' photos, messages or profiles outside the app. What is shared with you in trust stays in trust.

5. Photos and messages

Photos in chat must be captured live in the app, and expire permanently after 72 hours.
Messages are encrypted at rest. As stated plainly in the Privacy Policy, this is not end-to-end encryption: reported conversations can be read by moderation, and every such access is audit-logged.
There is no voice or video calling in Jura, deliberately.

6. Moderation and enforcement

Anyone can report a conversation, a profile, or a public post. Reports go to Jura's moderation team.
We may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove any account that breaks these terms, including removing public posts.
A permanent audit log of moderation actions is kept, even after account deletion.

7. Meeting people, honestly stated

Jura verifies faces, not character. A verified badge means a live selfie matched the profile's photos on the day of verification. It is not a background check, and no algorithm can promise anyone's intentions. Meet first in public places, tell someone where you are going, and involve your families early — that is both tradition and good sense.

8. What we are not liable for

Jura is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of members on or off the service, for the outcome of any introduction or relationship, or for loss of data within the retention rules stated in the Privacy Policy — including the deliberate 72-hour expiry of photos. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Ending the relationship

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may terminate accounts that break these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

10. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will tell you and this page will show a new date. Continuing to use Jura after a change means you accept it.
